Left at 8.30 in the pouring rain as you can see from photos . But bizarrely we loved the walk today which was spent on a 10km moorland high above the coast. Then walked down into Cee and Concorbion where we are staying. It is a pleasant old fishing village with the usual lively bar in the square. All the families are out as it's Friday night having a good time . We are made very welcome by the waiters and the clientele alike. We love the Spanish people .

Not a great day today as still hot and humid and walk not very interesting. Sally has struggled with her backpack today and so we will use a transfer service tomorrow which should help. Staying at a good little hotel with a lively bar. Tomorrow is forecast rain till afternoon so that will be a big change.

Started at 7am as temperature going above 30degs today and a big hill to climb. Pleasant walk with beautiful medieval bridge in pic at Ponte Maceira. Had lunch in Negreira and now at fab b&b just outside the town. Some nice photos added. Longest walk tomorrow and hot again so an early start on the cards.

Left at 10 this morning with heavy hearts having heard the news of the Manchester bomb. Once out of Santiago the Camino was well marked and it was a nice walk through Eucalyptus forests. Very warm today it's 28degs which was quite hard work but we only walked 7 miles today. Tomorrow it is going up to 31degs so we are going to set off early and get walking over by lunchtime. Stayed last night at Premier Inn in Stansted which worked out well. Good flight today and now back after 5 years in Santiago de Compostela - and it feels great. Had 1st Camino moment when asking at our hotel where we could buy some walking poles and the receptionist produced 2 pairs for us to have. Apparently lots of people leave them in the Hotel after their walk. Off to fish restaurant tonight close by and then start tomorrow on our 1st leg of the Camino Finist...
