We were up bright and early again (not as early today) and left the caravan park by 7am. We did a quick tour of the town and went and checked out the old port on the Darling River and a couple of other bits and pieces.
We got to the Queensland border at around 9am and stopped for a cuppa. Then it was onto Cunnamulla where we went and took our photo with the Cunnamulla Fella Bronze Statue which was made famous by Slim Dusty.
We then drove onto Wyandra and stopped at the Warrego River where we had a picnic lunch and Joe had a quick first fish with no success.
We drove for the rest of the arvo via Charleville and Tambo and ended up in Blackall where we are staying at a shire rest spot for $5 a night.
We travelled 744km today. Tomorrow we are heading for Longreach where we will catch up with Marcus and Ang.
