Life in Oz!
It was nice to get up and know that I don't have to study today or for at least another week! Although it would be wonderful if I could just get my other exam over with so I don't have to worry about it later. I went to the Uni to do a few things and when I came back, I called Joanna to see how her test went. We decided earlier in the week that since she doesn't have another exam until the 13th and me on the 15th we want to do lots of things this coming week. We wanted to plan out what we are going to do next week today but first we were both in dire need of a Woolworth's trip, I don't think I have been shopping for a good 2 weeks and have been living off of rice and spaghetti noodles the last few days. Kate, Joanna and I walked to Woolworth's but before we went, we checked our mail, Joanna and I both had a package! We could pick up the packages after food shopping. Between the 2 packages and all of our food we managed to fill a trolley full so we had the pleasure of pushing it back, it wasn't so bad with 3 people though. After I put everything away and had a wonderful lunch without rice or pasta I met Joanna at the pool to do some reading and sunbaking. It didn't last long though because the sun was starting to set (just before 4pm) and it was getting chilly. We then headed over to the computer lab where we searched for things to do in Queensland and airline tickets to Melbourne. We aren't sure if we want to stay here or head down south so we checked both options. We want to be here so we can hang out with everyone and not miss saying good-bye to people leaving but it would also be heaps of fun to spend time in Melbourne and that way I can spend more time travelling other places. It would also be heaps colder in Melbourne, which wouldn't be fun. It didn't take us long to get bored and annoyed with searching so we left. we talked to Fallon in the lab who was working on writing a paper and she had thought about going out to eat somewhere and we thought it was a good idea too. On our way back to our apartments we stopped by Fallon's to see if she was done with her paper and had decided what she wanted to eat. She wasn't quite done and we couldn't decide what we wanted so we left so she could finish and decide. I got a call from Joanna a little while later and she said Fallon was going to make pasta for us. I went over there and Joanna, Fallon and I had wonderful spaghetti and garlic bread while Kate watched since she had eaten already. We sat around talking for a while before I came back here and tried to work on my journals.
