Life in Oz!
No class today because it's ANZAC (Australia New Zealand Army Corps) day! It's sorta like Veteran's Day; everything was shut down so I didn't go anywhere. I was pretty lazy anyway. Didn't get much accomplished. I was going to go to a 24-hour computer lab to do some homework but didn't get that far. I met Linda, Ulie and Isabell at Isabell's apartment at 1pm to exchange pictures from the trip. I burned the pictures onto a CD and when I brought it back here, the pictures weren't on my CD. So I called Linda and went to her apartment to try it again. I hadn't seen Matilda since we got back so I stopped by her apartment since she lives right below Linda. She went to New Zealand and had a good time, but it was a little chilly, haha. The pictures still weren't there, so I brought my whole computer over to Linda's so I could try the CD right away instead of walking all the way across UniCentral again. I realized that I hadn't completely burned the pictures onto the CD. I would have noticed this sooner if I could read Swedish! When you are working on a computer in a foreign language you hope you are pressing the right button and going off memory of where things are on your own computer to not screw anything up. Apparently I should have asked what one window meant instead of closing it right away, ohh well, problem solved. It has taken me all night to edit all of the pictures from the Whitsundays; I have almost 400 just from the 3 girls and the few pictures that I was able to take! I still need pictures from Greg and Lena too because they took a few for me and Lena has all of ours from parasailing.
