I got up and had a swim again. I worked on my paper and pretty much got it done but it took me all day to do it. The student guild sponsored an Academy Awards theme party at the Uni so Matilda and I got dressed up and went to that with a bunch of her European mates, some of which I know. Before heading over to the Uni we went to Varsity to meet some people first. Uni wasn't too exciting at first but then more people came and it turned out to be a lot of fun. Most of my friends were there so I got to hang out with a lot of different people. After it was over, I went to a few different apartments for a while and then came back so I could talk to my mate Kari who is in England this semester. There is no cyclone Larry here. I didn't even hear about it until Michelle wrote on my message board asking about it. After that it was talked about but I think it hit more up in the Townsville area, so no where near me.
