Life in Oz!
I got up, checked my e-mail and found out my parents will be here tomorrow. I wasn't expecting them until Tuesday. It will be good but I was hoping to do a lot of homework on Monday arvo after class. So if anyone wants to leave them a message now is the time to do it, they will be with me until they fly out on Wednesday April 12. Thanks for the e-mail Greg, I'm glad to here about the water status at home. I wanted to start doing my homework after I found out they were coming but I was checking my e-mail and talking to mates online since I haven't had internet for a few days because I ran out of quota again. By the time I got done with that Richard stoped over. We had planned to go to the beach but all of my mates were gone or doing homework so we went in the pool for a little bit instead. After we got out we saw Joanna and she was heading to the beach so I went with her, her mate Kat and her flatmate Andy. We went to Mooloolaba, there weren't many people and the waves were small so it was pretty good. We didn't stay long but it was very refreshing. I'm glad we went, it was a beautiful day, it got up to about 32oC (almost 90F!) which was a good change from the mid to upper 20's (77F+) that we were having. It is getting chilly out now, in the evenings it is getting down to about 23C (73F), almost to the point were you need long sleeves, but not quite. I had good intentions to start working when I got back but Matilda called me and wanted me to walk to Woolworth's with her. I hadn't seen her all week so I went with. We decided to cook together so I went to her flat when we got back and we made tea and watched a movie. We then headed over to Varsity to Isabel's place where some of our European mates were. I didn't stay long because I wanted to come back and do some work but now I'm tired and am going to bed so I can get up early and work most of the day until my parents get here.
