I had to go to class today. I was pretty tired when I woke up even though I was in bed by 12:15. I woke up about 8:30 and had to get ready for my 10am Intro to Australian Politics lecture, next week I will have the tutorial for it at 9am. The lecture is 2 hours long, not fun but at least we got a short break in the middle. That means I will have 3 hours of politics every Thursday, not too thrilled about that but hopefully I will learn a lot about Australian politics and probably some about U.S. too because he does comparisons with other countries during lecture. I have a break from 12-2 so I came back and made some lunch. Then I was off to my 2-hour Community Work lecture. My friend Joanna is in the class, which will be nice and I also know an Italian guy in the class. She talked about the definition of community work for a good 20 minutes, giving definitions from many different people and it got really boring. She talked for a little over an hour and then finally let us leave. I was getting really tired because she didn't give us a break. Next week I will have the tutorial right after class so it will be 3 hours of community work, at least I get a break between my two 3 hour sessions. It was Tavern night so I hung out with Sara, Keise, Martin, Shane and their friend Don for a while and then we got the free shuttle to the Tavern just after 10:30. It was packed again but I saw a lot of people I knew so it was fun. I met a new friend, his name is Nick, he goes to the University of Queensland in Brisbane and he was up here on holiday. I got back just after 2am and went to bed.
