Hi All,

Well we said we would have a quite week but we lied here's the news on current events.

WEDNESDAY 5th September

Matt my bud at work asked me along to play not indoor 5's for his side but indoor 4's. Their team name was the Useless Beggers. This was picked as they thought it was funny when teams said they got beat by the Useless Beggars.

We were playing a top of the league clash against the Usual Suspects. The game was fast, you couldn't tackle from behind and you couldn't shoot in the box. We got beat 13 - 9, but for my first game of some sort of footie I scored 2 and set up 2 so not bad.

Friday 7th September

Charlotte and I went out to the cinema to watch Bourne Ultimatum, we had some Pizza and greek salad with some wedges before heading in. They were nice. If anyone is thinking of seeing the film then I would recommend it.

Saturday 8th September

We went out on a shopping spree and I got the Queensland Roar football top on sale, new davie dunlop trainers to do some rock climbing and other adventures. C got some Davie D's too and a nice going out top.

We also went sunbathing as it is starting to warm up and I got bitten by an Ant which was really sore.

We have also now booked most of our trip to Cairns so we are feeling a little less stressed for somewhere to stay.

I would like to thank my wee bro Alex as he has been so helpful in booking our nights in the sheraton in Port Douglas, Sydney and soon hopefully in Noosa. It pays to have family who know people. Much appreciated!!!

Who said backpacking had to be rough all the time!!!

Sunday 9th Sept

Sunday morning 7:30 Charlotte starts her Botanic gardens race in Brisbane, Iain the photographer captures her determination and her concentration on her face. 2K in and C was in 35th Position out of 250 people. At the end of the race C finished around 42nd with a time of 50min xx secs. It was a really good time based on the warm conditions and I was fair chuffed with her.

Our Flat mate Damien asked us the night before if we would like to go to the beech up on the Sunshine coast with Nadine and Octavio. After we got back from C's race we headed up in the car to a place called Mooloolaba where its good to watch the surfers.

We drunk beer, ate a nice picnic and had some nice icecream. I made a seat in the sand so I could watch the world go by.

The group thought it was also a good seat to watch the girls who were playing volley ball on the beach. I couldn't see cause the sun was in my eyes. Honestly!!!!

By the time we got home we were just able to cook and eat Charlottes famous Sunday Roast and go to bed.

We went back to work this Monday very tired!!!!
