Hi All,
Well a few things to tell you starting from last week.
Friday night
As C said we ad a barbie with flatmates and some cheap wine. The cheap wine was so good and we were having such a laugh I was sent out to get more. During the evening our Irish flatmate Katrina was asked to sing as she was in a girl group back home. She was really good and put me to shame with my right said fred singing of "I'm too sexy". Not to worry I'll keep practising in the shower.
About 12:30 at night I was left chatting with Damian and this Possom came across our veranda, stopped looked at me and Damian for about 1 min and then walked on again. So Bizarre. We see him all the time so I have no named him "Patrick the possom".
Saturday
At the Ekka i got this icecream made with real strawberries, what I mean by this is that the strawberries sit at the bottom of the cone after you have had the icecream you get fresh strawberries. Nice!!!
I took a shot at winning $50 dollars and a teddy for C by climbing this rotating ladder. The girl was cheating as she held on leaving me thinking I had a chance and then spun me so I fell off. My first attempt I was cheating anyway as I had my knees down trying to crawl up on my belly.
We also seen Martial arts and the instructor asked me and damian what type we do obviously he seen the muscle physic of me and knew I had some Kung fu moves. There was woodchopping games etc but one off the things that did happened was an event called ride and whip where a man stands on his horse and performs stunts with whips etc and does tricks with the horse itself, real fun!! Well he had a female rider who was his girlfriend and at the end in front of 40,000 people he read her a poem/speech and proposed to her. Was so nice and she accepted.
Sunday
I made breakfast on the veranda with flowers and things. Dont worry folks as I made C a fruit salad with greek yoghurt and a crossiant with Jam so no burning veggie sausages. At night I made her a candle lit dinner for 2 and we have done this ever night since as we enjoyed sitting out. All the other girls are jealous and asking their boyfriends to do something nice.
We got the newspaper and as C said I came 975th out of 27,000 people. I am so impressed, I told you all I was fitter and now this proves it.
This week
Well on Monday night when putting out the clothes to dry Patrick the Possom came to visit me this time he stood, gave me a stare and a look of move out my way which I did and then he walked his usual path to his tree for some leaves to eat and a sleep.
Yes I see all you comments about me misplacing things. I may add I dont lose thinks only misplace due to others distracting me. I always find what I misplace even if it takes a few hours or days. No more digs about the wallet I know I'm a wally but we shall leave it at that.
As C said once we have the photos up about the sailing C and I will have lots to share as well as the trip to Glass mountains etc this weekend.
We have booked our Darwin 5 day adventure tour camping and roughing it in the rainforest wilderness so thats cool. Story on this will happen at the end of November.
WorK
At work we have given each other names. Steve (boss) is called "The police Commissioner", Cathy is called CJ "Crazy Joe" as shes always stressed, Victoria is called "The baker" as shes preggers with a bun in the oven and I am called " The littilest hobbo" as every step I take I meet a new firend, just hang around and play for a while, maybe tomorrow I'll wanna settle down until tomorrow I'll just keep moving on". If you've seen the old programme about hobbo the dog you'll know the song.
Off now to make sure my wallet is in my bag as well as my mobile and make a list for camping so that I become more Mr Organised as C puts it.
Until tomorrow.
Bye bye
