Hi All,

C and I just thought we would drop a little blog in this week before our massive trip to the Gold Coast to travel to many destinations that we will blog on Sunday.

We have had an exciting week planning some of our travel around Melbourne after our Sydney stop. On Tuesday though it was a sad day for us, as we had to say goodbye to our good friends and flat mates Nadine and Octavio.

We had a Barbie down in Southbank and most of our flat mates turned up. I was chief Chef cooking all this meat and we all had some drinks and a good laugh. It was a good way to say goodbye and was always something we wanted to do before leaving Brisbane. We were tired the next day as we never got home until 11, but we still managed to get up at 5:30 and go for a run.

I had football last night too so I was pretty tired. The referee was an idiot we went 1-0 down and he sent of our keeper for nothing so they went 2-0 up. I scored to bring it back and then they went 3-1 up after the break. I then scored again making me joint top scorer for the team. I was being fouled all through the game and 3 off their players were yellow carded for it, however the ref didn't send them off!!!

I was starting to think it would take me getting carried of the park before anything was done. We chased an equaliser but the ref pulled out another blunder and gave the other team a penalty for handball. There were protests after the game so we will not get him again. 4 -2 was the final score.

On a good note the English married couple (Helen and Darren) from downstairs moved up. They are really nice, have been married for 2 years and are renting out their flat as well. They are the same age as me so we seem to get along.
