Camping!

I know, i know can u believe it that i actually went camping!! I always said i wouldn't as i like my home conforts but then i though oh what the hell - u only do this trip once!! And i am so glad we did!

The camp site was great - loaction 2mins from the beach which was beautiful, white sandy beach and clear water. The amenities were excellent - great outdoor bbqs and cookers and the showere was so hot and clean with private cubicles - couldn't be faulted! Our pitching place was great as only had 1 tent on 1 side and a fence on the other - got our tent up pretty quick too! We thought it would be freezing at night so went prepared but we ere boiling and out of our sleeping bags!

After we pitched our tent we went for a walk on Dicky Beach and watched a surfing competition and had a picnic where Iain had bought me a surprise present - the new Sarah Jessica Parker perfume ("Covet") and body lotion - very nice!! (He even got a lady at his work to wrap it up all nice!)

In the evening we played cards and cooked our barbie - oh and we had the great idea of toasting marshmallows - only to find out that ur no allowed any naked flames on the campsite (no, not even matches - to do with bush fires etc...!!!) so i thought i'd grill them in the cooker (since all the bbqs are electric too!) bu they kind of went splat!! and felt to a sticky gooey mess! We ate them anyway tho & felt very sick!!

The weather was beautiful on Saturday and didn't rain atall - we packed up on Sunday morning and headed towards Australia's Zoo (Steve Irwins zoo)

Zoo will be in the next blog as fingers are sore!

Loved camping and went to do it again, also got used to having a car again over the weekend and kind of miss it now! Since Sunday afternoon, it has been terrential rain here and we cycled to work and got absolutely soaked and 7 hours went we we left work we had to put our soaking wet cycling stuff back on - uuuurgh not very nice!!

Anyway i will finish off my fruit salad now as i am on lunch.
