Everyone had a bit of a sleep in this morning after such a late night, which was a treat for Nick and me! It was a beautiful sunny day so after breakfast we went for a walk through the town and along the estuary. On the way back we called into the bakery for hot cross buns for afternoon tea and then sat outside with Doris and Joerg and watched the crowds roll in for Easter. There are over 700 sites here and most of them are full. The playground was absolutely full of kids of all ages and so ours were happy in the thick of it all. After lunch we all got in the car and drove to Betka Beach, only 5 minutes away. The beach is nicer then Mallacoota beach, less seaweed and a longer stretch to walk along. The kids were all dressed in bathers and eventually went in for a swim despite the fact it was icy cold. Unfortunately, we had to turn around early as dark clouds were looming and by the time we made it back to the car it was raining quite hard. There was no point in heading home so we drove around and explored the area for a while. Due to so many recent late nights we had an early dinner and the kids were in bed by 730pm. Katharine, Nick and I watched a couple of episodes of 'Once' and then we hit the sack too.
