Happy 5th Birthday Annie!! She woke up at 630am having counted down the days since the boys birthday and within 5 minutes the rest of us were awake watching her open her presents on our bed. Nick made a triple batch of pancake mixture and made us all pancakes for breakfast, then the kids shot off to play in the playground. The entire caravan park seemed to know it was Anna's birthday and Anna had promised most of them a piece of birthday cake! Nick took them all to the skate park while I had a walk with Doris, then we came home and sang Happy Birthday and blew candles out on a pink jam and cream sponge cake!! We spent the afternoon walking through the woods to the beach. It was quite busy with a lot of people swimming but it was far too cold for us. Instead, we sat and watched the kids play in the sand and eventually ambled back late afternoon. The kids had a shower and got as dressed up as possible (!) and we walked into town to the pub with Doris and Joerg for a counter meal. It was a great meal and the kids ate every morsel. We walked home and spent the rest of the evening watching one of Anna's new movies, Turbo, all crammed on our double bed!!
