Not a lot to report today and we haven't done anything to warrant taking a photo. So I have included a photo of the beautiful sunset from yesterday.
It has been very cloudy and a little cooler. This morning we just lazed around and this afternoon we went to one of the local shopping centres to buy Adam a new computer ready for when they go back to school tomorrow. Unlike the 6 weeks summer holiday in England here they have 8 weeks.
This evening we went for dinner with all the family and had a typical Italian meal. Just before we left the Lightning and thunder started and we drove home in torrential rain. Hopefully the rain will put out any bush fires still burning as there have been several news bulletins of fires on the outskirts of the city. Not near here thank goodness.
We were hoping to go to Rottnest Island tomorrow but with the weather as it is there may be a change of plan.

Roni Glad there is no danger of bush fires near you. Here the north wind is bitterly cold, and all of yesterday's snow has gone. There was enough for Devon to make a snow man. Sorry I have only just caught up with your blog. I couldn't find your web address, as it had been tidied away! Enjoy the Aussie warmth.
Dorothy and Bob What's with the Blaney day's weather? We had heavy snow yesterday but it stopped and cleared before our trip out to Silver End - 12 in our party, 150 in total for Burns Supper. Brilliant night but oddly there were only 2 pipers and a lady playing drum.
Dorothy and Bob We had a very bracing walk this afternoon, it's freezing here today.
Carol Donna is so jealous of all our snow told her I would love to send ours to her. Alex has made a snowman called Dave!
