I forgot to mention yesterday that one of the most memorable things about Dubai are the flowers that are everywhere along the roads. Mainly petunias in great swathes of the same colour. After a 15 hour flight with a refuelling in Bangkok we arrived in Dubai at 6:30 in the morning. We arrived in Hong Konga about 7:30 this morning just after the rain had stopped. Although warm it was very cloudy and misty which meant we couldn't see allthe hills or the top of The Peak. We have just arrived at Hong Kong airport after an 11 hour flight. It is about 7:00 here and we have just had breakfast on the plane. The flight was good and fairly comfortable. I managed to sleep a bit and watched two films but not sure Mick slept much at all. We now have a 5 hour wait for the perth flight but there appears to be quite a few shops here that we will peruse shortly. Wonder if there are any shoe shops?? Next stop Perth!
