Before leaving Hyden we popped back to Wave Rock to take more photos without the shadow on the rock. Early as it was there were a few people out there already. We liked the sign in the photo as it made us think of Hard Rock Cafe!!
We left Hyden at 9:35 and set off towards Kondinin. We took a different route back through Kulin, Wickepin, Narrogin, Williams, Collie, Donnybrook, Capel and Busselton. Some of the towns today were more modern and larger but nowhere near the size of Chelmsford! We have driven about 500 kms today and although we seem to have been driving most of the day the good thing is that there is no traffic. You can drive for miles and miles and not pass a single car! All the main roads are now bitumen, better than when we went to Wave Rock in 1992!
We actually saw a couple of kangaroos in a field which is very unusual as they usually hide during the day and a mob of emus with some baby ones.
Tomorrow we are going to help Maureen and Vylic do some cleaning up at their new house that is being built.

Jenny Wow. Fantastic rocks, vegetation and wildlife but not sure about the 'amenities'. We did see a large herd of deer on a walk near Great Leighs the other day but not sure that this compares with Kangaroos and Emus??
