Sorry to be a pain but it has been 38C here today!

We took the train to Fremantle and spent some time there but it was really too hot to be wandering around. So in order to get the most out of our day ticket we got the train back to Perth and then the train from Perth to Murdoch where we caught the bus back to Kardinya where we are staying. Not bad for $11.80 each which is
approximately £5.50.

Another swim in the pool to cool off and I managed 30 lengths. That may sound pretty impressive but the pool is only 10m long but better than none. Mick of course sat and watched me from the seat in the corner. Just like a naughty boy!

As the boys were staying at their cousins for the evening the four of us went out for an Italian meal in Fremantle. The menu is very much like Prezzos although I am not sure that Prezzos serves veal cutlet served with spaghetti bolognese!!

It was such a warm balmy evening that we decided to have an ice cream - just for Irene. Hence the photo. I had Turkish Delight flavour which was lovely but I don't think they matched the flavour of Simmo's ice creams in Busselton.

Tomorrow rain is forecast but let's hope they are wrong.
