13th September We left Elliott Heads (Bundaberg) at 8.30am and made our way to Hervey Bay. We stopped in at the tourist info centre on the way into town. We drove along the foreshore and checked out the 3 beachfront caravan parks. We chose the one in Scarness and booked in for a couple of nights. We were woken by a light shower this morning. Outside was quite damp but very pretty. After a quick breakfast we drove about 3.5km to the Wreck Rock Campground (& toilet).
