We called at Häylekis just to get food for a few days in the islands of the lake. Lake Vänern is the largest lake in Europe. We sailed the 8 miles to Råbäckshamm so we could walk the highest mountain in the area. Kinnekulle is only 1000 ft high, it is a table top mountain that can bee seen from all over the lake. The chart said the harbour was there but I don't think it is a guest harbour as there were only little private boats in there. 26 NM across to Ekenas. We could not find much out about this place apart that it was a harbour, we had a nice sunny sail across in F3 winds. When we arrived we faced an extremely narrow channel between reeds not much wider than the yacht and down to 1.9 depth.
