To Borensberg took us along the tree lined canal through open countryside only 11 miles but this took some time as there are a number of locks and many bridges. We also went over our first aqueduct in Bunny Bee , we had been over one in Thames Mist on the grand Union canal some years ago. At Borensberg there is the canals only manually operated lock and the famous Gota hotel built in 1908. Unfortunately this quite town was spoiled but the captain and crew of a very large sailing boat that ran there generator until Late into the evening and again at 07.00 the next morning.
