Dragør, Denmark Aug 22, 2019 We revisited Dragør on the 31/July 2019 as our friends Gavin and Terry were there with Hexotic, we enjoyed a Chinese buffet with them, eat as much as you can the weather was kind with rain and clouds.
Copenhagen, Denmark Aug 2, 2019 We moored up the canal right in the centre again, since we were last here a foot bridge has been built but this raises up for yachts to enter. We enjoyed a couple of days round the city together before heading back to Kastrup and the airport. Brenda is flying to Sydney for granddaughter. Marianne is going back to the U.K. leaving John and I to sail back to Fehmarn via Gedser
Kastrup, Denmark Aug 1, 2019 Kastrup is just a marina but it is in walking distance to Copenhagen airport so great for meeting crew. We were picking up John and Marieanne for a flying visit
Flakfort, Denmark Jul 30, 2019 Flakfortet is a mans made island build up with sand to protect the sound between Denmark and Sweden built over 100 years ago. We had a good light wind sail from Malmo. The island is privately owned with a great harbour, if somewhat expensive . The island is full of tunnels and Fortifications from WW1 and 2. We were walking along one tunnel using our phones as torches when a generator cut in for the islands restaurant Brenda got spooked and we left quickly.
Bornholm, Denmark Jul 14, 2019 From Łeba to Bornholm is 84 miles. Again on engine as wind was light 13.5 hours. We didn’t see another yacht all the way. First stop for a sleep only was Nexø, then round to the capital Rønne for 2 nights. Rønne is not a very good marina because of the wash from ferries. English friends On Tyra were there so was good to catch up, they are on there way back to Rugan. We then moved just 6 miles up the island to Hasle a much nicer place for another two nights....
