Back to Berg but this time straight into the flight of 11 locks that raised us up 30 m from the lake we stopped the night in the middle basin before continuing on in the morning. The locks at Berg are the Gota Canals longest flight and most spectacular.

Today's sail to Berg is across Lake Roxen started off cloudy but by lunch time we were anchored in a flat calm bay in beautiful sunshine. There is a yacht mooring at both the bottom and top of the flight of locks. We stayed at the lower one.There are 11 locks here with a 30 M rise in hight, it's an interesting place to spend a few day's watching boats.
