We had a great sail the whole distance from the islands into Mariestad. 13NM the winds were fair to us and at between 10 and 15 knots a perfect sail. Mariestad was quite a busy down by the harbour but quite in the town. We again had a meal out with John and Marieanne in a lovely dockside restaurant. We were able to fill up with fuel, quite a bit cheaper than the canal.
