This year we have today joined the CA Rally about 20 other boats for a cruise in company from here I Stralsund, Kröslin, wolgast, Ueckermünde then ending in Swinoujscie Poland. Two days in Stralsund for the start of the CA Rally. We had a great sail down from Wiek in 20 knots of wind and arrived comfortably in time for the evening fish meal on the key side. The next morning we had a walking tour of the town, weather good mid 20s, unlike the U.K. who are having floods. I was able to get a replacement gear cable for my bike after snapping it on Rugan. As lovely as Vitter is we were fed up with staying on an exposed berth so we have sailed 9 miles to Wiek on Rugan, a much more protected harbour also 10 euros a night less, we need a few days before joining the rally to finish of some boat jobs. We have been on 2 long cycle rides 22 and 11 miles, long for Brompton’s anyway Rugan has cycle routes everywhere so it’s a great place to cycle. Back on Hiddensea for 3 days after sailing from Rostock via the Anchorage at Barhoff. Met up the quite a few Brits and had a barbecue. BB has been horse riding today. Yesterday was lovely but today it’s very windy, unfortunately we are in an exposed part of the marina.
