Happy Easter!
Another whole day on the road. JT still resting, but had the company of Kyara (training for London) for the first 2 hours - which made it go very quickly. The end of session two was quite hard going, but it did involve a lot of tourist dodging on the South Bank (shame Kyara wasn't still with me - it would have been good London training for her!). First 2 miles of last 6 in Session three were slow and sluggish, but then everything came good and I was able to polish off the last 4 in 9.30s again. Overall time for 30 miles 5.07. So a bit slower than yesterday.
Lessons learnt: it's doable, but it is going to be tough. Tiredness is in the head - it's possible to get going again, with a little patience. I think we are going to earn every penny donated!

steve fletcher Good on you m8,this is going to be the hardest thing you two have ever done,I/we all believe in you guys and I know you will do this, maybe you need to take the other John puppet and jokes along to take your minds off the physical pain lol
Cliff Keen Well done Peter. Lessons learnt are what training is all about. I wonder what you will learn from the run itself ?
Peter Probably never to do something so stupid ever again! : ) Or - there are easier ways to loose weight....
Greg Hello, time differences making it hard to log onto skype for a chat, but it looks like, all thing considered, things are ready to go. Today is one week (Tuesday) before I leave for the sunny shores of the UK. Looks like training is going well - congratulations. See you in just over a week.
