Crossed our first boarder today - It's 'Caithness no more' and into Sutherland! Another good day's running today. We actually ended up running 31.78 miles, because we chose to run to the campsite. Means we only have to run just over 28 miles tomorrow! We'll see.... Today's time was 5.47 for 31.78miles.
Unbelievably - every steep hill we have elected to walk, it has begun raining at the foot and stopped at the top. It's a problem because the wind means we cool down quite quickly.
Both quite tired this evening, but we've forced ourselves into the local pub, in order to use the wi-fi of course. I hope you appreciate the lengths we go to just to keep all you wonderful people up to date!
We love receiving all your messages so please keep them coming. Because of wi-fi and phone coverage (and time!) we can't reply to all but we really really appreciate them all and they are seriously helping our effort.
Tomorrow we begin our run with less than 800 miles to go! Woohoo!!!!
Ps we notice there have been no donations today - please spread the word - we are definitely earning the pounds here in all the weather that Scotland is throwing at us. Night night!
