The picture is me after Gweek 4!
A lovely start to the day - we met Rob Wing with his beautiful Traction Engine in full steam just pulling out of a lay-by, mid way through our first run of the day. He stopped for a chat and to allow us to take a photo. My brother, Malcolm owns a Sentinel Steam lorry which he drove from John O'Groats to land End about 10 years ago. Now we've nearly done the same - but under our own steam!!
The second stage was very difficult because of long hills and heavy, fast moving traffic. We were quiet tired by the time we pulled into our rest stop - but soon revived by Tomo, who turned up cheery as ever with 3 punnits of fresh Cornish strawberries! What a man!
At our third break we were surprised by a knock at the door - it was JTs wife Maz and our running friend Helen - with Eccles cakes and Cappuccino coffees!
It's obviously a day for treats.
Helen and Maz are booked into accommodation in Sennen Cove so headed off to book in while we headed off for our last leg of our last full day of running.
We were really hoping to find our first sign for Land's End but in sight of the van and with nearly 31 miles run there was still no sign. Greg indicated the point to which we should run - and we clocked off for the day - at a mile stone indicating Land's End 17 miles! It had to be the final photo of the day!
The campsite is lovely, a short walk from the beach (to much for us!) and the owner Kathryn very kindly gave us a cheque for Cure Parkinson's.
Tonight we dine in style with Maz and Helen in a local restaurant.
So - the stats. 850 miles run. Just 20 miles (or less?) to go! This isn't an exact science but hills, weather and feet willing we still hope to finish around 3.00pm. Not sure we will sleep tonight.

steve forsdick` It has been amazing reading this blog, I have enjoyed every word and every step, Enjoy tomorrow, what you are about to finish is just awesome, you are incredibly inspiring!
Jan & Emmie-Mae We've been cyber following you guys since John O'G. Fantastic that so many strangers you've met along your journey have become instant friends. Lovely to read it all. This has been a real conversation starter, even for us, but the best has to be whilst waiting with all the parents outside Em's gymnastics class, the week after the London Marathon! (yeah people, try 28more days of it!) You're both amazing, we're seriously impressed. Now, go well & swift till Lands End boys. Wish we could be there to fanfare your finish (I'd learn the bagpipes!) Huge hugs, Jan & Em x
