A great sail in company with Des and Anne to Visby 43 nm. Visby is the capital of Gotland and a big ferry port. It is extremely popular with its walled city and lovely cobbled streets, there are down sides. The Marina is twice the price with poor facilities. It's also a stretch of the imagination to call it a safe harbour as its open to SW so we get a constant swell coming in. We have stopped for 2 nights but may stay another because we are expecting strong winds again.
