A day off from sailing and a train trip to the town of Schwerin. Schwerin is centred round a lake with a huge fairytale castle on an island. The weather has suddenly changed giving us 30 degrees. Being a Monday we found the castle was shut but we were able to enjoy the gardens and the town. We did our usual thing and climbed to the top of the highest church tower, some 200 steps up a spiral staircase, we were up there at midday and witnessed the bells at first hand. Very loud
