Kröslin marina is a huge modem marina very good for keeping boats in but not a particularly nice place. It is across the river from Penermunde the development site for the V rockets from WW2 we have visited before so did not bother. We stopped for 2 nights as we were getting F6 winds from our intended direction. ‘Lapwing’ Keith and Pat from our home port were there, they invited us onboard for evening drinks, they had also found two other British yachts so they had a boat full. ‘Penguin’ sailed by rrrrrrrrrrr on his own and ‘rrrrrrrrtrtt sailed by Richard and Woody both Malo yachts and both going to be overwintering in our yard. We cycled to the next town where there was a lovely beach. Brenda also cut my hair for the first time on this trip. After 2 nights the wind had dropped down to a manageable F4 so we all left, Penguin going on to Denmark, rrrrrrrtt going down to Poland and Lapwing and us going to Greifswald Wieck.
