Monday 8 February
I'm up early. I shower to wash my hair. I forgot last night. We have breakfast and after Malcolm returns from dropping the kids we head into Arusha. It's event free and we don't get stopped by police. We visit many hardware stores before getting what we need - some screws! The store is very busy do we go out to buy herbs. Lori's phone appears to have more problems than a battery. I spot what I'm looking for at a shop as we walk by. At the right price too. Lots of ticks off our list. Off to the Masai market to collect Hannah's dresses. I buy some cute Keyrings and a paper bead necklace. We meet Hope there and soon are on our way back. Two stops- a department store and a supermarket. We go to the day care for lunch. It's not long before we have to go to the girls school. I'm not sure how it will go. We have to wait till nearly 4 before we can start. I'm sweating so much. I can feel it running down my legs. It's not too bad and the others tell me it went well. After doing the second class I settle in a bit more. There is more translation need with the second group. We come home and make pizza and finish the night with 2 scrabble games.
