Getting out of bed feels especially hard. Malcolm is feeling better and gets up to take the kids to school then goes into Arusha for chores. Hannah catches an extra nap and I make cookies. Then the research calls. I'm getting close to finishing stage 1. So much info to give! I head over to the day care about 1pm for lunch. We head back planning to visit the market. It starts to pour! We wait it out. By the time it clears it's time for mal to collect the kids. Once he's done we go and look for gumboots for Hannah and clothes for the kids. They want to rip us off on the clothes so we decide to send a local lady another time. The boots Hannah gets for a good price. We spot a mirror. It's small, but cheap so we get it. It has a cardboard back and taped up sides. The mud accumulates on my soles and my sandals feel heavy. We end up getting a few fresh food items and them stop by the ATM and the store. At the daycare ppl are slowly leaving and we wait around. We visit rose and violet in the new house. Malcolm checks a few lights. We start on dinner. Roast cauliflower and hummus. A quiet evening and into bed.
