Wednesday 6 January
We are up and about a bit later this morning. The plan is to go to Arusha today and arrange for some more furniture, arrange driving school for a worker and buy some extra supplies. Everything takes longer than planned. Our first stop is quite successful and negates another stop. We get stopped by police and as the front passenger wasn't wearing his seatbelt we get fined. There are no seat belts in the back, but that doesn't seem to matter.
We head to a furniture store. We need a few things, but the overall quality is poor and the cost very high! Generally much higher than even NZ! After much time we order all we need and head to the pharmacy. I need to get a few things and you don't need a script, but they are very expensive. Our last stop on the way back is the supermarket where we are ordering the sanitary pads for the school. We order 900. Hopefully 3 months worth. It's a long tiring trip. Hannah goes to see her friend and brings her back. She has a painful swelling under her chin. We have a rest and then made guacamole for dinner. The avocado's are huge. Early bed sounds good.
