The Hurley's Travels
The sabbath morning wake up: the diligent guard raking the stones. The morning passes in a blur. Malcolm listens to a sermon. After lunch we go through the lesson and remember childhoods past. Then an afternoon nap. I wake sweltering and out the fan on. Then we wander through the village on dried muddy roads and talk to some Massi children herding goats sheep and cows. The large moon rises quickly over the hills. For some reason today seems like a good day to be fixing the road by the house. The knock down a tree and disturb a hive of bees. We watch a movie and eat chocolate pudding with cream.
