I'm awake early and the power is on so I get up and start cooking the dal and the banana cake. It takes a good few hours and I end up needing the generated for about 20min to finish with the cake. It feels like having run a marathon. We head to the day care to help mind the children and lunch. After lunch we head back for a nap. It gets very hot then starts to cool down. We tidy up the house while Malcolm gets dinner. It's candles and rechargeable lights as there is no power. It comes on just as we ready for bed. Better plug all the rechargeable's in!
