Sunday 24 January

A new day, but not much planned. I do some washing. Malcolm cooks pancakes for breakfast. The day guard comes, but Hannah ends up taking him home because he was bitten by some of the bees from the downed tree and his face swelled up. Hannah has some study to do and I do the dishes. I try unsuccessfully to nap. The lady comes to wash and iron cloth and later the lady comes for a check in who prepares the lunches for the school. After a thunderstorm we head to market and the ATM. Opps. We forgot to stop the filter and now there us a small flood in the kitchen. Then it starts raining and I dash to get the fabric off the line. We soak the veggies and later I start on dinner. There is no power so we sit by battery light. I have a shower early and prepare for bed. I'm so exhausted.
