Day 51 - Wed 09 May - Roxburgh
Today it was a lovely sunny day and time to catch up with some washing this morning. After lunch we did a cicuit of the Roxburgh district, driving up one side of the river and back along the other. We visited Roxburgh Dam, Roxburgh Township, Millers Flat, Horseshoe Bend Bridge, Lonely Graves and also found a couple of wild apple trees. Yum - baked apples for dessert. 7 rigs in here tonight so not crowded.
Day 52 - Thu 10 May - Roxburgh
A quiet day relaxing today - biscuits and buns got made. Bruce met a couple of other Lions also staying here at the campsite. Pinders Pond had been carved out in the goldmining days for water storage to be used for th slucing guns that operated to get the gold out of the soil and rocks.
