Day 53 - Fri 11 May - Roxburgh to Alexandra

There was some fog around the hills early this morning which cleared away. We moved from Roxburgh up the road to Alexandra. The road north went through very rough terrain which meant lots of hills to tow up and down. It's certain a different sort of landscape here. We settled ourselves into ourselves into a very nice POP (Park Over Property) near the town - just us here. We were hoping to catch up with some friends here but they are away at Te Anau on holiday. Oh well - it's sometimes difficult to do this when we don't know exactly when we'll arrive at a place.
