Tues 20 March - Ngatea to Otorohanga

Whew - the waiting is over! All loaded up and on our way...... (Who knows why this blog site says we are at Rangitoto Island????!!!!)

The caravan needed a WOF so we headed off to Kopu VTNZ first thing this morning. No problems with that so by 10.30am we were finally on our way! The Bakery at Turua looked a good spot for morning tea to keep us going. It was an uneventful drive from there through the Waikato to Otorohanga NZMCA Park. We arrived about 12.50pm and spent the rest of the day relaxing. There were about a dozen rigs in for the night - our neighbour came over to say he had looked at a caravan just the same as ours at the Covi Show. However as they lived in Southland getting the annual servicing done would be an issue.
