A Coruna
I walked around the coastline to meet up this morning with my brother Phil and his wife Jayne plus their dog Tess at their motor home near the Tower of Hercules.
The impressive tower is built on the site of one of the most ancient lighthouses in the world and the Roman foundations are well preserved. The walk to the top provides a wonderful view over the Atlantic coastline.
We had a very enjoyable time together over a tapas lunch with a couple of glasses of wine in the centre of A Coruna. Then it was time to get a train north to the town of Ferrol from where my Camino Ingles walk will begin.
