Tui to Porrino
A different sort of Camino day today.
Margita's knee is still very painful and so we decided to rest up and find somewhere for treatment. Fortunately the physiotherapist was not too far from the hotel and Margita got some massage and ultrasound treatment which was an excellent local service. Fingers crossed that things will hold out for the next week.
We set off for Porrino at 1.30 which is a late start for most walkers but managed to arrive at 6.45 and book into a hostel. The walk was good along new routes to avoid heavy traffic and included ancient bridges and crosses, some dating back to 1215.
There are lots of churches here in Galicia and the Camino is very popular with local people.

Phil & Jayne Hope Margita's knee is on the mend, looks like some beautiful countryside. Haven't had honey & chestnuts so with the amount we have it will be dessert today. Pleased all going well x
