Nick woke up early this morning and got up and went for a walk but it was really cold so I rolled over and went back to sleep, only getting up when I heard the coffee machine! We were all on a bit of a go-slow today and were still in our pj's at 10am. The original plan was to spend the morning doing schoolwork but by the time we got dressed it was nearly lunchtime so instead I went grocery shopping! We had lunch and began schoolwork after that but we didn't last long as motivation was very low!! I decided to cook a casserole and left it in a very slow oven while we went to the beach. I walked there and Nick took the car and by the time I reached everyone they were all in swimming - even Annie! We had a game of cricket to get warm again and then came home to start dinner. We used our bbq for the first time since leaving Mullings Way and cooked some roast veggies with sausages. Everything was eaten and Matty still returned 10 minutes after we'd finished the dishes to eat two bowls of cereal!! The kids spent the evening outside playing until it got dark and we had peace and quiet in front of the tv before bed.
