Slept in until 830am and the sun was back out again. We decided to spend the day around the caravan concentrating on schoolwork but spent most of the day talking to fellow campers. They all commented on how we sleep in so late every morning, how we were late home yesterday and how our generator goes on at regular intervals throughout the day! It's quite a comfort knowing everyone here is looking out for us and once we explained our coffee addiction they all understood the generator! We spent all morning at school with Nick doing some one on one maths with Katharine and I covered English grammar with the boys - I had to keep running back to Nick to clarify things but the book we are using has the answers in the back so it's not too hard! Annie is finding copying letters of the alphabet too boring and only wants to do maths! After lunch we went for a walk along the beach but didn't get too far as the tide was coming in so we got back to the van earlier then we thought and had a few hours to kill. Before we could decide what to do we got involved in a chat with another neighbour and the next thing it was dinnertime! It's amazing how time just seems to disappear when you are on the road. Nick made dinner while I did a few hours work and then afterwards he began the washing up. He was just about to run the bowl with water when he dropped a knife into the sink and it shot down the plughole and sat in the pipe under the sink. He had to get under the van and unscrew the pipe to retrieve it. The kids watched a film before bed and after showers we watched the last three episodes of 'The Killing'!
