Another great night's sleep but it did seem a bit colder this morning and we were woken by the neighbours discussing the need for beanies! We stayed in bed as long as possible and only got up when it was safe to start the generator for a coffee. After breakfast the kids did a great job of collecting firewood while we cleaned up and then we spent the morning doing schoolwork. We have got into a great pattern of relaxing for a few hours after lunch with a book. The kids run off and spend time with all the neighbours and when they (the neighbours!) need some peace we take the kids off to the park. We drove out to the skate park and took our chairs and books with us and spent the rest of the afternoon there. In the evening one of the pubs was offering live entertainment and an $8 roast so we walked to it for dinner. Half of the campsite was there and so we knew nearly everyone and felt like a local! The roast was awesome, especially as we didn't have to do the dishes. We bought ice creams and chocolate bars for desert and spent the evening sitting around our campfire watching the stars. Everyone has voted to stay here a little longer!!
