Despite waking up early with the traffic noise in the park, we all had a bit of a lie in and a long leisurely breakfast of fresh eggs laid by the chooks at Bivouac Junction. We were all awake by 7am and were on the road 8. The drive up to Cairns was much prettier then the drive across from the NT border!
