We all had a terrible night's sleep with the kids up and down through out the night needing the toilet or wetting the bed. The walk across the park to the amenity block was very pretty due to a clear starry sky but by the fourth trip I'd had enough!! We had a bit of a lie in to compensate for all the interruptions and then decided to have a quiet day around the caravan park. We began by doing two loads of washing and met two other couples for a chat walking back to the van. Next thing we knew, two hours had passed and the washing was ready to be hung out - it's amazing how time just passes on the road!! The kids had met up with two other children and were playing footie. It seemed a shame to break up the game so we sat for a while and read until the other kids left the camp. We drove into Atherton to do some shopping and I found a turbo cooker that I bought with some birthday money from my lovely in-laws - thank you very much Peta and Jon xx Atherton is a busy place with all the shops and services you need but it's not particularly attractive so we didn't linger and headed home for lunch. We spent the afternoon doing schoolwork and then went for a long walk along the old railway line that runs behind the caravan park, coming back through Walkamin to look at all the different houses. We bought the kids a box of Lego while in Atherton and they spent the evening building all sorts of different things. They played very quietly so Nick and I managed to watch a film - Captain Philips, which was very good!
