We woke up early this morning due to lots of movement in the camp as multiple vans packed up and moved on - maybe due to all the rain that's forecast over the next few days!! We lay in bed reading and by the time we got up for breakfast the skies had cleared a bit. We decided to head in to Mossman this morning and work from the Library so that we could all keep dry. It had a perfect set up for us with a couple of tables hidden in a corner and the kids got straight into working and stayed focused for a couple of hours. We went back to the van for lunch and afterwards had planned to explore Mossman Gorge but the sun came out and the kids were happy playing on the beach so the Gorge never happened!! Instead we went for a long walk along our beach and then Nick cooked a fantastic roast leg of lamb with veggies on the BBQ. We sat outside and listened to music until the mossies started biting and then spent the evening reading while trying to get the kids to sleep.
