Today we rode camels! Eeeehaaaa!
We had tried to book the camels for Sunday evening but these camels don't work on Sundays! Christian Camels??
Anyway, so we managed to book for this afternoon a 30min pre-sunset ride along Cable Beach. It was a great experience for all of us cruising, I mean loping along the beach on camels, but Jordie was hilarious to watch as the camel got up with a huge lunge forward to get up on its hind legs and then a huge lunge backwards to get up on its front legs. In fact the camel's getting up and sitting down process is the best part of the ride! We weren't sure how Lochie would deal with the camel ride, but we had nothing to worry about, he absolutely loved it! He would turn around to me and Chris and Jordie behind me with his thumbs up saying, "Yeah, I love it!" Awesome experience but 30min was enough, as our bums were getting numb.
Later that evening we went out to the local Thai Restaurant as a farewell for Chris n Jordie's last night in Broome with us, good food great company, it was sad to see them go the next day!
Now it was time for us to prepare to leave Broome as well.
