We arrived at Onslow on the Western Australia coast expecting to find a beautiful coastal town, but unfortunately we were faced with a town catering for the mines and its miners but polar opposite to Tom Price! We were very disappointed! The caravan park was full of old caravans housing miners and at $45 per night it was an absolute rip-off!! Unfortunately Onslow is not being maintained or upgraded and we actually didn't take any photos as nothing was appealing to us! Western Australian mines appear not to be re-investing funds into the towns they use, with exception of Tom Price and Paraburdoo, there is no beautification program that's for sure. Tomorrow we leave for Exmouth, hopefully the area will lift our spirits again.
