Today was the last day with the Jeep Wrangler, so Chris wanted to make the most of it! We decided to take Chris and Jordie out to Willie Creek Pearl Farm, two reasons, some fun off-road driving for Chris and some jewellery shopping for Jordie. We had been out there before but this time it had rained heavily the evening before so that meant mud and fun! The first section of mud on a right hand bend caught me out and the Zuki decided to do a 270 degree spin, woohoooo! It's weird when everyone in the vehicle feels like a passenger, including the driver! Anyway, it gave Chris and Jordie a good laugh watching it all unfold. The rest of the drive in was all about slipping and sliding all the way in, fun, fun, fun!
Upon arrival Jordie did some pearl shopping and then it was the return drive (slide) back. When the Jeep was hired the hire company said that we don't need to wash the Jeep?! Anyway when Chris returned it, the girl exclaimed, "Where have you been?" "Willie Creek." Chris replied
"But its so muddy!" She said
"You said we didn't need to wash it." Was Chris' reply.
"But it's so muddy!" She said with disbelief. It was very funny but in true Chris fashion he got away with it!
We all had a fun day, the afternoon was relaxing at The Frangipani Resort with a BBQ for dinner. I need to get one of those gas Weber BBQs they really are great!
